Collectors Club of Chicago

In Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood, the Collectors Club of Chicago is a philatelic organization focused on documenting, preserving, and advancing the study of stamps and postal history. It holds monthly social and general meetings at the Cabeen House, with formal dinners and invited guest speakers. Members can use the club's philatelic library, which is also open to others in the philatelic community who need it for research. The club publishes specialized handbooks, compendia, and anthologies based on original philatelic research, and invites researchers to submit manuscripts for publication. Its activities also include exchanging information with other philatelic organizations and supporting philatelic exhibitions. Membership is by invitation.
