Coalition of Ltd English

CLESE provides advocacy, leadership, and education focused on limited-English-speaking older adults. It delivers professional interpretation and translation services to medical health plans and the aging network in Illinois, while helping community-based organizations address the needs of culturally diverse older residents. The coalition promotes equal access to services regardless of ethnicity or language and offers assistance and information to ethnic agencies. CLESE also builds collaborative partnerships and can connect people with ethnic and community-based social service organizations. It speaks more than 100 languages and maintains a national presence. Based in Chicago, CLESE serves older adults, aging networks, and organizations working with multilingual communities.
