Cenacle Sisters

The Cenacle Sisters offer spiritual direction, individually directed retreats, other retreats, and programs that support an active faith life. Their ministry also includes adult faith formation and a contemplative presence. Prayer and community shape this work, which is directed toward awakening and deepening faith. The Sisters accompany people on their faith journeys through prayer and opportunities for reflection and gathering. Their spirituality draws on the Cenacle, a place of prayerful waiting associated with Mary and the first assembly of the Church. The Cenacle Sisters are a community of women religious in the Catholic Church, and their mission is to contribute to spiritual renewal. They are based in Chicago.
