Early Education
Directly operated programs for children ages 0-5.
Directly operated early care and education programs serve children ages 0-5. Founded in 1976, the Carole Robertson Center for Learning is a Chicago organization offering child and family development programs, including year-round youth development for ages 5-17. After-school programs provide academic support and enrichment during the school year, while summer day camps offer activities during school closures. Programs are offered at sites in Little Village, North Lawndale, and Albany Park, as well as at several partner schools. The Center also works through community partnerships, workforce development, and support for independent child care providers. Its programs reach children and adults across more than two dozen Chicago communities.
