Bigger Table

Bigger Table is a Chicago nonprofit organization. It brings together the food and beverage industry, community organizations, and other partners to address hunger, unemployment, and inclusive economic development in Chicagoland. The organization facilitates in-kind donations of food ingredients, food science, manufacturing line time, packaging, and related resources to create nutritious food provided free to food pantries and food banks. Launched in 2020 by the Chicagoland Food & Beverage Network, Bigger Table develops industry-based approaches to food insecurity and connects partners that do not compete with existing food banks or distribution centers. Through donated ingredients and expertise, it has donated more than 4.5 million servings of food to Chicagoland food banks since its founding.
