About Avalon Park Community Church
Church services are the core offering. The congregation is part of the United Church of Christ, a denomination whose work includes racial justice ministries, environmental justice, and community-based ministries. Its wider church network shares action alerts, devotional content, news, and event updates, including advocacy on voting access, peace, and youth health education. These initiatives connect faith with community concerns and justice work. The church is in Chicago.
