American Montessori Academy Andersonville

Year-round, all-day Montessori education is offered for children ages 8 weeks to 9 years. Programs use the Montessori Method in carefully planned learning environments. Children work with specially designed materials and select activities, while multi-age classrooms support mentorship and leadership. Credentialed Montessori educators guide this work. The integrated curriculum covers practical life, sensorial learning, mathematics, language, science, music, creative movement, art, history, geography and culture. Grace and courtesy are also part of the curriculum. American Montessori Academy is a network of independent schools, including its Andersonville location in Chicago, and offers programs throughout the year.
