A Silver Lining Foundation

A Silver Lining Foundation funds cost-free breast health testing through partnerships with community, advocacy, and healthcare organizations. Services include screening mammograms through biopsies for people who need access to timely testing. The foundation also operates six breast health and testing programs, including Finally Fits, which helps breast cancer survivors obtain properly fitting bras and prostheses. It began as an outreach program and developed a referral network with local, regional, and national organizations for cancer information and support. The foundation's work is based in Chicago and focuses on ensuring that socioeconomic status does not affect an individual's ability to obtain breast health testing. Its programs turn no one away.
