Medtox Laboratories

Located in Charlotte, MedTox Laboratories is a forensic and clinical toxicology laboratory. It provides medical drug monitoring and pain management testing, including urine tests that identify drug categories and compounds. Other clinical services include therapeutic drug monitoring, emergency toxicology, biological monitoring, heavy metals testing, and meconium, synthetic drug, and pharmaceutical testing. The laboratory also offers regulated and non-regulated workplace drug testing and employee wellness programs. For lead screening, providers can collect two drops of blood during an office visit for filter paper testing. Services are delivered through laboratory testing, with in-office collection available for the filter paper lead test. MedTox operates a SAMHSA-certified laboratory and a CAP- and CLIA-certified clinical laboratory.
