Lawler Design Studio

Custom cabinetry crafted by Amish artisans is one part of Lawler Design Studio's interior architecture and design work. Founded by Suzanna Lawler in 2003, the Charlotte studio creates residential and commercial interiors, beginning with room proportions, connections between spaces, natural light, and architectural details. Its work can include custom millwork and cabinetry, lighting, materials, finishes, furnishings, textiles, art, and objects. The studio describes a collaborative approach involving designers, craftspeople, and problem-solvers, with attention to how homes look, feel, and function in everyday life. Its portfolio includes projects in South Carolina and Florida. Suzanna Lawler holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Interior Design and NCIDQ certification, with expertise spanning residential and commercial interiors and an interest in design's relationship to health and well-being.
