About Clayworks
Ceramic arts classes and workshops are the core offerings. Students can learn wheel throwing and handbuilding through two-hour workshops, private lessons, or multi-week classes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Sculpture classes serve intermediate and advanced students, while raku workshops introduce participants to glazing and live firing. Clayworks also runs birthday parties for ages 6 to 16, corporate team-building sessions, and free hands-on community programs at local libraries and recreation centers. Its educational programs range from introductory clay fundamentals to dedicated studio space for professional artists. The nonprofit's 15,000-square-foot facility is in Charlotte.
