About Bunk 57 Ministries
In Charlotte, Bunk 57 Ministries is a faith-based community ministry serving young people, returning citizens, and families. Its P.L.S.M. Youth Program offers mentorship, growth sessions, community service and life skills projects, and parenting sessions to help young men build positive paths. The Life Restoration Program supports people returning from incarceration as they work through employment, family, mental health, and re-entry challenges. It also uses the Wellness Recovery Action Plan to address substance use and support wellness and recovery. The ministry brings together mentoring, family support, discipleship, recovery resources, and practical next steps. Its work draws on lived experience with incarceration, addiction, trauma, and rebuilding. It also develops faith-based media through hip-hop and cinema projects.
