Torah Jews

In Brooklyn, Torah Jews is a Jewish religious organization focused on explaining the distinction it draws between Judaism and Zionism. Its website presents Torah and halacha as the basis of Jewish religious identity, and says that Zionism is a political nationalism rather than Judaism. The organization shares its perspective through explanatory articles, comparisons of religious and political ideas, historical texts, and statements from rabbinical figures, including the Satmar Rebbe. It also publishes responses to current events and clarifications through its online channels. The material addresses how political actions by the state of Israel relate to Jewish identity and religious tradition. Its content is delivered through written explanations and statements on its website.
