Square Roots

Indoor farming facilities and agricultural technology support are the core offerings. Square Roots provides modular farms equipped with hydroponic systems and monitoring, along with software for environmental controls and grower workflows. Partners can use existing facilities or license the platform to develop farms at their own scale. The company also supplies fresh produce with year-round availability and supports food research and development, including work to understand plant behavior and test agricultural approaches. For food security initiatives, it offers facility design, local team training, and food strategy support. Its indoor farms and services are offered in Brooklyn, with the platform designed for use in other locations as well.
