Paws and Rec

In Brooklyn's Greenwood Heights and Sunset Park area, Paws & Rec is a cage-free dog care facility offering boarding alongside daycare, walks, grooming, and training. Boarding takes place in a home-like environment, with overnight attendants providing round-the-clock care so dogs are not left alone. Daycare is designed to keep dogs active and engaged, while dog walks are led by Pack Leaders who build relationships with dogs and their owners. A professional groomer provides thorough grooming treatments for a flat fee. Training focuses on trust and issues that can interfere with the bond between a dog and its owner. The facility also describes its handlers as certified, bonded, and insured, and daycare attendants as trained in Pet First Aid and CPR.
