Park Slope Eye

An independent optometry practice. Park Slope Eye has served the Park Slope neighborhood since 2008. Its services include comprehensive eye exams with prescription testing, retinal imaging, and additional testing when useful. The practice provides eye care for infants, children, and teens, including care for myopia. Contact lens exams and fittings address routine needs as well as hard-to-fit prescriptions, comfort problems, and specialty lenses. Myopia management options include Stellest glasses, daily contact lenses, Ortho-K, and low-dose atropine. Dry eye care helps assess symptoms such as burning, grittiness, watering, and fluctuating vision. Medical eye care includes evaluation of eye pain, redness, flashes or floaters, sudden visual symptoms, glaucoma risk, and diabetic eye concerns. Patients receive their eyeglass prescription after refraction and their contact lens prescription after a completed fitting.
