About OMA
Horn and speaker design, tube amplifiers, turntables, and tonearms are among OMA's audio specialties. OMA, or Oswalds Mill Audio, is a Brooklyn-based audio company formed by Jonathan Weiss and a group of audio designers and engineers. Its work draws on cinema speaker systems and triode vacuum tube amplifiers from the 1930s, adapting that technology for homes and public hospitality venues. The company's Dumbo loft serves as its studio and showroom. OMA grew from audio tasting events at Oswald's Mill in rural Pennsylvania, where audio builders gathered to explore tube and speaker designs. The team also includes industrial designer David D'Imperio. OMA's work encompasses audio equipment design and education, including design for psychedelic medicine and therapy.
