Sorel liqueur
A bright red liqueur inspired by Caribbean sorrel.
A micro-distillery producing Sorel, a bright red liqueur inspired by Caribbean sorrel. The handcrafted drink blends Moroccan hibiscus with Brazilian clove, Indonesian cassia and Nigerian ginger. Its story traces hibiscus beverages across West Africa and the Caribbean, and draws on founder Jack's Barbadian family heritage and culinary traditions. Launched in 2012, JackFromBrooklyn created a shelf-stable version of the historic drink. Sorel is the distillery's featured product and is offered for purchase through its shop. The business is based in Brooklyn, where the liqueur brings a traditional Caribbean drink into a modern distilled format.
