Gallery Players

Stage productions are the core offering, with a season that includes musicals and other theatrical works. Current programming features Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, a musical built around familiar songs and a story of friendship and travel. The company also announces auditions for productions, including Fun Home, and invites playwrights to submit work for its annual Black Box New Play Festival. Selected plays are paired with directors and developed through a rehearsal and revision process before presentation in a minimally designed black box format. A reading series gives audiences opportunities to experience works in progress. Subscriptions and single tickets are available for performances. Gallery Players presents its theatrical programming in Brooklyn, New York.
