Early Start Inc

Developmental evaluations are one of the services offered by Early Start, which has served Brooklyn and Staten Island since 1993. The organization provides diagnostic and therapeutic services for children and families, including occupational, speech, and physical therapy. Special instruction and service coordination are also available. Additional offerings include counseling, family training, ABA therapy, and therapeutic riding, referred to as Hippo Therapy. Early Start notes that New York City families concerned about the development of a child under age 3 can call 311 and ask for Early Intervention. Its services cover both assessment and ongoing support for children and their families.
