About Art Cake
In Brooklyn, Art Cake is an arts venue and creative workspace in a converted 1920s industrial building. Its 13,000-square-foot facility includes exhibition spaces, affordable artist studios, and a 4,200-square-foot ground-floor event venue with 17-foot ceilings and a central skylight. Artists use individual studios for work across a variety of fine art disciplines. The venue hosts exhibitions and events, including audiovisual installations and shows presented by Yellow Chair Salon. The ground-floor space is available for photo shoots, film and music video production, fashion shows, lectures, weddings, parties, and dinners. Art Cake was founded in 2019 to provide space for creative production and events in New York City, with event-space rentals supporting its affordable studio program.
