Based in Barrington, Tap-In is a community service organization serving residents of Rhode Island's East Bay. It works to address food insecurity and economic hardship. Visitors can access food and essential supplies every two weeks, and request transportation to medical appointments. Deliveries are prioritized for people with disabilities, poor health, or no transportation. Furniture requests and donations are handled by phone. The organization also relies on volunteers, including student volunteers, to support its services. Tap-In has served East Bay residents for more than 40 years.
