Texas Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty

TCADP works with local, state, and national partners to reduce use of the death penalty in Texas and ultimately end it. The organization advocates for change at the county and state levels. It is a statewide grassroots advocacy organization dedicated solely to this cause, with staff in Austin and Houston and a statewide Board of Directors. TCADP has more than 23,000 members and supporters and 35 organizational affiliates. It invites Texans to join its efforts and shares information about death penalty developments and facts. Its work focuses on transforming justice in Texas through advocacy and collaboration. The organization is based in Austin and serves communities across Texas.
