Digital resources
Access to print and digital library materials.
In Amherst, the UMass Digital Media Lab is associated with the UMass Amherst Libraries, an academic library system serving the campus community and the wider public. The Libraries provide access to more than 8 million distinct print and digital items, with much of the collection available online. The system includes the W. E. B. Du Bois Library and Learning Commons and the Science and Engineering Library. Its Robert S. Cox Special Collections and University Archives Research Center holds manuscript collections documenting social change in America. The Libraries also house the W. E. B. Du Bois Center, which provides access to archival resources and supports scholars across disciplines. The website text describes the library system and its collections, rather than specific Digital Media Lab services.
