El Camino Real Academy

ECRA aligns student learning with New Mexico Common Core State Standards. El Camino Real Academy is a tuition-free public charter school in Albuquerque, serving students through a specialized academic program. Its stated objectives include connecting students' existing knowledge and skills to current and upcoming learning, and developing academic language through sheltered instruction across content areas. The school describes its approach as whole-child education, with attention to students being healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged. It also provides families with school calendars, handbooks, attendance and conduct policies, and other parent resources. The academy operates under an approved charter and enrolls students through a lottery process, as described in its explanation of charter schools.
